Outreach is a key aspect of our Foundation, encompassing the values of service and support we seek to uphold. Our reach extends throughout Africa and we provide aid to all who desperately need it.

UMGABABA HANDOVER

INANDA HANDOVER

Through our commitment to assist affected communities, we visited the community of Inanda in KZN in May 2020 to make a difference in the lives of those affected by the recent floods in the province. Together with our partners, we aim to reach as many families as possible with the help they need during these trying times.

SONGOZIMA HANDOVER

In July 2021, The Beast Foundation joined forces with The Nelson Mandela Foundation & Hulamin Ltd in the National School Nutrition Support Programme, for a food parcel distribution at different schools in Pietermaritzburg that was aimed at supporting schools that were affected by the unrest experienced in the country.

BUSY BEES WITH BABALWA LATSHA

Our Brand Ambassador, Babalwa Latsha‘s birthday ended off on a high note with a visit to Busy Bees Rugby Club – First Black WP Rugby Club. The Club has produced and developed a number of professional rugby players. We partnered with Unilever SA to create health & hygiene packs for the female rugby players of the club. Babalwa also engaged and shared some encouragement to the aspirational players – the group even got to go onto the field for some rugby fun.

O'GRACELAND WITH BABALWA LATSHA

In celebration of International Women’s Month in 2021, we spent the day with Babalwa Latsha at O Grace Land Girls Home in Cape Town, empowering young girls is close to Babalwa’s heart. She handed out health & hygiene packs to the girls and engaged with them. O Grace Land is a safe place for 20 underprivileged girls over the age of 18 to grow and get ready to step into adult life. They offer life skills and a safe place to stay while the girls complete their education and prepare for the working world. They stand in the gap as these girls prepare to step into adulthood after life growing up in homes and institutions.

BUNS OUT

A burger that’s worth every bite! In 2020, we joined forces withh Buns Out Burger where for every of their Bacon-ings burgers purchased, R5 went towards The Beast Foundation Relief Programme.

SUMMERHILL CHRISTMAS DRIVE

The Beast Foundation teamed up with South Africa’s much-loved toy store, Toys R Us to spread Christmas cheer and joy to children in need with a visit and sport & educational toy drop along with essential items from Unilever SA to Summerhill House kids in Durban. The home was founded over 10 years ago by Paula Owen and Esther Lynn, and has been caring for hundreds of children over the years.

UBUHLE BEZWE CHRISTMAS DRIVE

Toys R Us and Unilever SA helped us spread joy and put smiles on the faces of children at Ubuhle Bezwe and Thusong Children’s Home in Tembisa, Gauteng. Both homes look after children from the ages of 6 months to 18 years.
